As the day starts to end, and business meetings have all been dismissed, I can’t help but think about home. As I leave Khalal Jumeriah Towers, I am driven back to my magnificent palace, known as Zabeel Palace, surrounded by the prettiest peacocks you will ever lay eyes on, and serene ponds, filled with Koi fish. I long to be at the dinner table with my mum, talking about the day’s events, and discussing our weekend plans at Chestershire Ranch in London, where we will ride vivacious Arabian stallions, until we collapse from exhaustion. When I arrive at my castle, I am greeted by my first wife, who I find quite annoying. Oh how I wish she would fall in love with someone else at times. I give her a quick kiss on the cheek, then make excuses to get away from her. I need some time alone, to bathe before our evening meal, and it won’t include her. I have many wives, but the first wife lives with me in the main palace. My other wives live with their children, in separate palaces around Dubai.
My servant attends to my every need, helping me unwind for my evening bath, in my enormous, Jacuzzi style tub, or do you consider it a Roman tub? It is filled with white rose petals, a favorite of mine, and gardenia scented bubble bath. I close my eyes, and think of my falcons, and horses at Chesteshire Ranch in London. I can’t wait for this week to be over.
Love, Fazza
